methodology

1. 01

   we start with a free meeting.

   bring 3–5 references of things you like or don't: websites, other interfaces, sketches on a napkin. we go through them together and talk about structure, look and money.

   before we leave we set a date for the second meeting and a list of what we need from you: texts, images and your visual identity if you have one.

2. 02

   your website is ready in a month, counting from that first meeting.

   we hold the second meeting within the following two weeks, with your material already sent. if more than two weeks go by and we don't have the material, we stop the project: we have set aside a month of our calendar and we cannot keep it hanging.

   picking it up again costs 10%, which is what it costs to make room for you again. it is not a fine: the month we were keeping for you already went to someone else.

3. 03

   with the material on the table we put together a design proposal.

   take as long as you need to decide. better you think it over now than halfway through the coding.

   once you are happy and the first payment lands —half—, we start writing code.

4. 04

   we work in three deliveries. each delivery includes one round of revisions and can hold several changes.

   the design changes when it goes from sketch to a real website: it has to work, adapt to a phone and solve whatever comes up while building it. that is part of the job and does not count as an extra round.

   design usually takes 1–2 weeks and coding another 1–2. with the material on time, the whole project takes roughly a month.

5. 05

   with the code approved and the other half paid we meet one last time, in front of your computer.

   you leave that meeting knowing how to update your website without us. that is the point, not an extra.

   if needed, we set up the domain —we recommend Cloudflare— and it stays in your name, not ours.

6. 06

   after delivery you have two weeks to tell us about anything that breaks or to use the rounds you have left.

   from then on, changes are billed at 60 €/hour.

   we say it plainly because the alternative is the usual one: a monthly fee you pay every month for nothing.

   here you only pay when you actually want to change something. and if you learned to do it yourself, you don't pay.
