conor ashlee-purle is a photographer. his website opens with a line that already says a lot: "you can hug them, heavens know they need it". that tone — odd, tender, personal — is impossible to fit into a template. it was the first website we made entirely in english, and what came out was a little handwritten corner: small, careful, without a single prefabricated piece — even the buttons are his drawings, not type. and it has something almost no portfolio solves: a family archive behind a password, for the photos he wants to keep without publishing.
