la diega composes music and designs sound for brands and film: the menudas piezas ost, samantha hudson, amor butano, ads for nike, loewe or massimo dutti. the trouble with a sound portfolio is that it's almost always mute — a grid of thumbnails you have to open one by one. here the first thing the site does is ask whether you want to listen, and after the yes it never stops: the work plays full screen, one piece after another, with the look of a japanese video game menu. and inside the about, behind a character sheet, there's a real synthesiser — played with the computer keyboard, sounding over the video. it took us longer than the whole website. we hope la diega likes it.
