a double commission: ana lópez investigates the image from printmaking and etching through to oil and watercolour; monica kopatschek paints figuration where power, intimacy and fiction cross. we made two twin websites — same structure, different personality — so each body of work could breathe on its own without losing the family resemblance. they're two mirror websites: they look at each other. the lovely thing about a commission like this is that you make every design decision twice, and both times it has to be the right one.
