project · an elegant, minimal website for a european creative
valentin
valentin doesn't introduce himself as a photographer from a city: he introduces himself as a creative based in europe, and the website had to hold up that ambition without getting solemn. in a website like this everything competes against the image, so we took everything else away. his home page is his name and a list of thirteen words — no menu, no bio, no introduction. holding that emptiness costs more than filling it, and it's exactly what makes it elegant: the interface shows up when you need it and disappears when you don't. he manages his projects by editing a data file, without touching the code.
