the website's title is a frog emoji, and that already tells you the spirit of the project. villagranota is a small collective of people who want a better internet — odder, more handmade, less like a shopping centre. it's the kind of place that can only exist if someone builds it from scratch. projects like this are our laboratory: what we learn making odd websites ends up improving the "serious" ones.
